THE LAKE MUSIC FESTIVAL
BARBERSHOP HARMONY
PARADE SHOW
What:
Saturday Night Barbershop Harmony Parade Show –
As part of the Lake Winnipesaukee Music Festival – “Harmony
on the Lake”. This show will feature barbershop choruses
and quartets from around New England and beyond.
Selections will include dozens of popular American Songs
sung a cappella in four-part harmony.
When:
Saturday August 16th. Curtain is
7:00 PM
Where:
Prospect Mountain High School, 242 Suncook
Valley Rd., Alton, NH. Turn right approximately 1 mile
south of the Alton traffic circle on Rt. 28.
Who: The
festival weekend is being coordinated in a joint partnership
by the Alton Centennial Rotary Club and The
Nashua, NH Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Performers include:

The Granite Statesmen
Barbershop Chorus
Twelve time champions of
the Northeastern US and Eastern Canada (NED). This
dynamic, all-male ensemble recently competed in
the 2007 Barbershop Harmony Society's International Chorus
Championship and was ranked 22nd in the world. They will be
singing songs written by Irving Berlin.

Reveille
Reveille is an exciting and entertaining quartet from New
York City. They are the 2002 Mid-Atlantic District
Champions and have competed on the International competition
stage several times. A versatile show quartet, Reveille
commands a repertoire remarkable in its variety, ranging
from traditional ballads, to original comedy, to Sinatra, to
contemporary swing, and featuring hot charts from a variety
of top arrangers, including many from the fertile brain of
the late great Roger Payne, the quartet’s original tenor. Quartet performers include:

Why:
To celebrate the traditional American musical
art form known as Barbershop harmony. Proceeds will benefit
a scholarship fund managed by the Alton Centennial Rotary
Club and music education programs provided by the Nashua, NH
Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
How:
Tickets for the Friday night show, the
Saturday night show, and the Saturday afternoon Winnipesaukee Belle cruises are available at the new Profile Bank building on
Main St. (Rt. 11) in Alton. They can also be ordered online
by completing the
Ticket Order Form.
Admission for the show is $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for
youths under 12. Cruise tickets are $10.00
for adults. Many other festival events are free. Visit the
